1. About these terms
These terms govern your access to and use of PADDOCK.GURU, an independent Formula 1 fan website operated by Owen Weston (“PADDOCK.GURU”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

2. What the service provides
PADDOCK.GURU provides Formula 1 season information and fan-focused features, which may include calendars, session schedules, results, championship standings, driver and team information, user profiles, favourite selections, browser notifications and optional Discord integration.
Features may be changed, suspended or withdrawn as the website is developed. Some features require an account, browser permission, a linked Discord account or access to a compatible device.
3. Accounts and account security
- You must provide information that is accurate and keep your account details reasonably up to date.
- You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential and for activity carried out through your account, except where caused by our failure to take reasonable care.
- Do not share your password or attempt to access another person's account.
- We may restrict, suspend or close an account where reasonably necessary to protect the service, other users or comply with law, including where these terms are breached.
- You can manage available profile information, disconnect Discord and request account deletion through the account features provided on the website.
4. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the website unlawfully, fraudulently or in a way that infringes another person's rights;
- attempt unauthorised access to the website, its servers, accounts, databases or connected services;
- interfere with, disrupt, overload or impair the website or its security;
- introduce malware, malicious code or harmful content;
- scrape, harvest or collect personal information about other users without a lawful basis;
- use automated access or data extraction in a way that places unreasonable load on the service or breaches a provider's terms;
- misrepresent your identity, impersonate another person or misuse the Discord integration; or
- use the service to harass, threaten, abuse or unlawfully discriminate against others.
5. Discord integration
Discord linking is optional. If you choose to connect your Discord account, you authorise the website to use the information returned through Discord's OAuth process to associate the accounts and provide the integration features described in our Privacy Policy.
Depending on the configured server features, the PADDOCK.GURU bot may synchronise selected driver or team roles, process reaction-role choices, and publish or manage server announcements. Discord server membership, role availability and bot permissions are controlled by Discord and the relevant server settings. We cannot guarantee that Discord or the bot will always be available or that a role change will take effect immediately.
Discord is a separate service with its own terms, policies and availability. Your use of Discord is also governed by Discord's terms and policies. You are responsible for complying with the rules of any Discord server you join.
6. Notifications
Browser push notifications are optional and require permission from your browser or device. You control the notification preferences available in your account and can revoke browser notification permission or unsubscribe at any time. Delivery depends on your browser, device, operating system, network, push service and whether your subscription remains valid. We do not guarantee that every notification will be delivered, arrive at a particular time or be displayed by your device.
7. Information, data and accuracy
We aim to keep the website useful and accurate, but schedules, results, standings, driver/team details and other information may be delayed, incomplete, changed or incorrect. Always check official Formula 1, FIA or event sources for information where accuracy or timing is important.
Some motorsport data is supplied by OpenF1. Use of that data is subject to the relevant provider's terms. PADDOCK.GURU is an independent fan project and is not endorsed by, affiliated with or officially connected to Formula One, Formula 1, the FIA, any F1 team, driver, promoter or rights holder.
8. Intellectual property and third-party rights
Unless otherwise stated, the PADDOCK.GURU name, original website design, text, graphics and software created for the service are owned by or used with permission by the operator. You may browse and use the website for personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not copy, republish, commercially exploit or create derivative works from our original material without permission, except where permitted by law.
Formula 1, team, driver, event, sponsor and other third-party names, marks, images and materials belong to their respective owners. Their appearance on the website does not imply endorsement. Third-party content remains subject to the rights and terms of its respective owner.
9. Third-party services and links
The website relies on or links to third-party services, which may include Supabase, Render, Discord, OpenF1 and browser push providers. Those services are operated independently and may have their own terms, privacy policies, security practices and availability. We are not responsible for services or websites that we do not operate. Links are provided for convenience and do not amount to an endorsement.
10. Availability and changes
We aim to keep PADDOCK.GURU available but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free or continuous access. Maintenance, updates, provider outages, data-source changes, network problems or events outside our reasonable control may affect availability. We may modify, suspend or discontinue all or part of the service. We will try to give notice of significant changes where reasonably practicable.
11. Disclaimers and liability
The website is provided for general information and fan use. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties and conditions that may otherwise apply to the service, and we do not guarantee that the website or its data will be accurate, complete, current, secure or available at all times.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. If you are a consumer, you may have rights under UK consumer law that are not affected by these terms.
Subject to the paragraph above, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, revenue, business, opportunity, goodwill or data, or losses caused by third-party services, inaccurate external data, device or network failures, or events beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in this section affects any rights you have under applicable law.
12. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled, including account information, Discord linking, browser push subscriptions, service providers and your data protection rights. It forms part of the information provided alongside these terms.
13. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the website at any time and may request deletion of your account using the account controls where available. We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, misuse, breach of these terms or discontinuation of the service. Provisions which by their nature should continue after termination will continue to apply, including intellectual property, disclaimers and liability provisions.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the service, providers or applicable law. The “Last updated” date will be revised when changes are made. Continued use after updated terms take effect indicates acceptance of the revised terms, to the extent permitted by law. If you do not agree to a change, you should stop using the service.
15. Governing law
These terms and any dispute or claim arising from them are governed by the law of Scotland, unless mandatory consumer protection law requires otherwise. The Scottish courts will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights you may have to bring proceedings elsewhere.
